Yosef November 2020-2020_11_08-142619-

I was born in Moscow, USSR, lived in Jerusalem, traveled extensively, and for the past decade, I have lived in Berlin with my partner and our son.

I studied journalism in London, philosophy and theology in Jerusalem, and ultimately found my path to psychotherapy.

I have lived in multicultural communities most of my life, and I know well the depth of emotions in migration: the existential search for meaning and belonging, the struggle with a new place, and the journey to find yourself within new relationships.

As part of my own personal search, I went through a complex journey, tried different directions, and can truly connect to the depth of searching for yourself, your place in the world, and the meaning of your life.

For me, therapy is art. A meeting with the beauty of our light and our shadows, with our hunger for love and connection, with heartache, and with the power of our rage.

Psychotherapeutic encounters need to seduce  us, entice us toward change, invite us to live fuller lives, express ourselves more honestly, and connect more deeply with ourselves and others
